Financing from Aarhus University

The relevant department/centre at Aarhus University decides whether the university will fund your studies or research stay abroad. Please contact your department/centre of employment.

The Graduate School at Arts and Health have Going Abroad portals, which also contain information about how to finance your stay abroad. The portals only target PhD students:

Applying for funding for studies abroad is time-consuming, but often worth the hard work.

The Research Support Office at Aarhus University is happy to help:

  • identify sources of funding of relevance to your project
  • tailor your application to the individual call for applications
  • ensure structure and transparency
  • provide input for non-scholarly content
  • do a budget
  • ensure that all formal requirements are met
  • obtain general information about Danish, European and other international research programmes
