Orientation & registration event for new international academic staff at AU.

Aarhus University hereby has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in our Getting Started in Denmark orientation and registration event for newly arrived PhD students and researchers. The event provides you with important on-arrival information and helps you to get registered with the public authorities for your EU residence certificate, CPR number and tax card at the International Citizen Service (ICS) in Aarhus.
The event is held twice a month (as a minimum). If you are unable to participate this time we advise you to join another of our events. You can find more dates in the invitation and the links to registration can be found at www.ias.au.dk/gettingstarted
The event is for international PhD students, postdoctoral scholars, associate professors and other newly arrived staff. Guest researchers and guest PhD-students residing in Denmark for more than 3 months are also welcome. Your partner/ spouse and children are also very welcome to attend but may not get registered at the event. Each participant must sign up individually.
The event starts in the foyer at the International Centre, Aarhus University, Høegh-Guldbergs Gade 4A, 8000 Aarhus. The participants will be taken to the International Citizen Service (Arosgården, Åboulevarden 31, 1. tv, 8000 Aarhus C) for the presentations and registration.
Please notice Transportation from the ICS back to AU is not included in the event.

You must register before 12 noon on the Thursday before the event, and spots are limited, so please register as soon as possible.
Getting Started in Denmark is organised by the International Academic Staff Services (IAS) at AU International Centre in close cooperation with Work in Denmark. The IAS is the central unit for international academic staff at Aarhus University.
